Pioneer VSX-527-K AV-Receiver

So I got the Pioneer VSX-527-K AV-Receiver yesterday via Hermes. The first impression was very positive. Workmanship very good, even if it is slightly bigger and bulkier thus acts as my old Kenwood receiver. The connections are all well located and convenient, only the attachments for the speaker cable (thus this rotating / quetsch connections) are a little shaky, but work great. The establishment of the unit was playing out of hand. The vote means MCACC was a bit fiddly, but in the end it went quite well. Also, the app which it for the various smartphones, tablets, Macs, etc (there is also an Android app, which I have not tested this but) there is sufficient. One can thus use the device (change input source, volume and volume down and on and off switch), but nothing more. it no EQ functions are given, but what bothers me personally either. Now push the negatives .. where you want to call it that. It is nice that you can access via the Internet to thousands of radio stations, but unfortunately it is my build so far not been possible to construct a favorites list for this channel. Sounds at first not dramatic but if you realize once about how many channels start in D with "antenna", it can be quite costly fumble. Not to mention if you are looking for a sender begins with a letter in the middle field of the alphabet, one can browse the gaaaaaaanze list with the arrow down key. Quite time-consuming, annoying, and seems somehow unfinished. There is also no search function (at least I have not found) which would have been browsing through this can defuse. BOTTOM LINE ... ... I think that someone like me who needs a reasonable immersion Eiger receiver, which has a decent sound and is easy to set up, this can without hesitation. For all those who are looking for an absolutely top unit .. well .. should consider whether they wish to be looking in the wrong price range ;-).

One thing first: The sound and the possibilities of this receiver is just TOP! The included Sound Retriever feature enhances the sound of enormous and the Midnight / Loudness provides a clear sound (Midnight) and deep bass (loudness) at low volume. Clearly 5 Stars! But now the weak points: Operation: Manual Without this device is hard to see through. There are simply too many features with too many acronyms. The number of functions not to star deduction leads! Network Services: The Internet radio airplay and the functions work fine after some initial difficulties. Airplay: Here was my router not recognized initially, and if only for a few minutes. This could not, however, overcome by a shorter IP reallocation interval through the router as well as a reboot of the  service (Windows) Internet Radio: came Again, the sudden termination as with AirPlay, but again this is for the shorter IP reallocation- Intveralls history. Access the feature on Windows media servers using receiver is a matter of patience, because the load times take a long time. But better then streaming works directly from the computer. Conclusion: Due to the mentioned shortcomings, I prefer this one (yes only one) from Stern, since although they were very annoying first, but solve are. Also, the sound, the versatility (of soft music to hear about watching movies such as a party), and the price just TOP! Strong buy recommendation for those looking for a cheap receiver with a great sound and many functions but also to bring tolerance and patience.

Pioneer VSX-527-K AV-Receiver Reviews

I have satisfied this AV receiver for about 4 weeks in use and am very far. The set with the calibration microphone was super easy. In connection with my Harman / Kardon HKTS 16 5.1 speaker system, it is a fantastic surround sound. The on-screen display, although not graphically beautiful but functional and thus reaches out completely. Connectivity it offers enough (iPhone, iPod, etc.), the network function is really handy. Also can be combined with the Control App, the system operated very well, if the receiver is connected to the home network. I can recommend this unit without hesitation.

Appearance: The receiver looks great and fits perfectly with black flat screens. Timeless and elegant - just beautiful. Processing: the receiver is the price more than reasonable. Features: 6 x HDMI, 1 x USB, but unfortunately only for it (and that is not in this price range, of course) all speaker connections to the screws. Thumbs up! The network capabilities of models to those same high 400-500 €, so here thumb! Operation: The operation is simple and mostly self-explanatory! Sound: Music playback is great and the EQ settings are sufficient for beginners anyway. With movies, including Dolby audio track a great sound experience is offered. Bottom line: The Pioneer VSX-527 is designed for beginners in home cinema systems that require only 5.1 and want to connect boxes under € 1,000, in my view, a good choice. The value for money, given the great features more than satisfactory.

At an unbeatable price, I can empehlen the receiver only. The HDMI cable of the various devices (Media Receiver by Telekom, Apple TV, and DVD player) I have not put to the receiver, because no digital audio is looped through. I just did not manage it. After I plugged the HDMI cable from each device to the TV and connect the optical cable from the TV to the receiver, everything worked perfectly.

Thanks to the quick start guide easy to put into operation. for all other functions is the detailed guide on CD. no problems with the Audio Return Channel. No dropouts or something similar here, everything has been criticized. And who can not be bothered to read a manual just because it came with no printed (the poor trees) and then afterwards complained that nothing works .....

Airplay and DLNA works right away, speaker setup a breeze, balanced sound app for control over network could be far better

have now decided after much back and forth for the pioneer vsx 527 and do not regret it. everything works as it should and it offers individualization options for my taste enough. can not completely understand the bad reviews regarding the poor and cumbersome device ... as long as you at least 08/15 English dominates and logical thinking, the whole sugar is one lick. I am satisfied POINT!

The unit is ok for the price, first it looks very classy and processing is technically nothing to complain about. Also on the back does the processing. Construction: The construction is really very quick and easy, the quick guide accompanies you when you have done this many times before but you need not read this really. After all wiring just plug the wait completed the setup microphone. Sound / Sound: The sound of the speakers is leaving after calibration (in my case my Magnat Monitor System) is quite appealing, and for this price range but convincing. Whether Dolby Digital / TrueHD / DTS / etc listen to class, own the Pioneer DSP programs not convince me fully, which are also used very little in practice. In Transformers 3 (DTS) the only sound swirls around without ever losing pressure. Even with classical music from an audio CD, the receiver quite convinced. Netzwergfähigkeit: all audio files are streamed easily by both USB or DLNA (Media Player PC / Samsung Galaxy Tab) and have no errors or wobbles and sound very good. OSD: Here one can not wonder the on-screen display can I expect really unsightly, similar to the game Pong, so very simple large white block letters without pictures or animations. Oh just in SD resolution. It but it serves its purpose and is very clear and easy to set up, each find their way around without guidance. This "problem" has an impact on the Internet radio, but which offers great quality and a wealth of channels that you probably never manages to listen to all. Negatives: - It is extremely used to the sources of the large dial left "looking" for. - It can be set to any latency. That means it can not be influenced the sound of a source such as switched from a BluRayplayer delayed asynchronous / is added to the image or runs, because in my (Samsung LE46C750) of clay about 300 MS is shown in front of the corresponding frame. - The Sourroundausgänge only terminal connections are positive: - The value for money is great - Lots of sound for the money. - Great look / feel - Good remote control - power reserves for large floorstanding speakers Conclusion: If you are not in the 500 - Shoppers 1,000 EUR League is quite well served with this unit. If you also want to buy a speaker system for the equivalent one bike, this unit gets exactly what he wants, the one great 5.1 sound enthusiastic, and surprises with great effects. I tested this unit with multiple sources and boxing and was always very different from the space that it generates very excited. As a comparison I have the Onkyo TX NR 809, which operate only at very high levels or in 7.1 stands out clearly. So I can highly recommend the Pioneer VSX-527-K AV-Receiver

Pioneer VSX-922-K AV-Receiver

Basically, the Pioneer VSX-922-K AV-Receiver has hundreds of possible settings that can be adjusted. When you get busy, and everything works well. Encouraging is the provided universal remote control that operates as one can also control TV and BluRayPlayer. Although it has many buttons and those are very confusing. Too bad I find that not all on-screen menu settings can be made, some settings are only possible via remote control and a small small display on the receiver. Also, it bothers me that the subwoofer can be turned off and only indirectly to the function, I think, many users often. All in all, I for one am very happy with the quality of the workmanship, the settings (though sometimes awkward) and the sound. A cleaner remote control would be desirable.

Got this amp about a month now and I am from the first second to love it! Making table to pure I go to the user for hours the first few 1-2 you have to actually be a little with the multifunctional remote play their functions to internalize but when you're first a bit by looking it easy the amplifier actually makes everything all by themselves and it takes only a few buttons to adjust the sound if something is just great. The connection of a cable is supplied with ipad as ingenious. I can understand all the bad criticism here ABSOLUTELY NOT recommend this amp just any would buy it immediately

So I got the receiver yesterday and now finally all set up. What some people write here. Because of, operate chaos as I can reassure everyone Who knows for the Sony receiver is actually a dream here, all well organized in video, sound, and home settings, everything is wonderful and is in my opinion for this multitalent very clear. MAn must indeed all the settings somehow bring under one hat. I had found me in briefly and then everything went very easily. the sound and the technical data I believe I have to write anything. Canton Chrono have speakers that are anyway sounded forth from simply brilliant but the Pioneer pushes the power literally in the speaker, can price performance ratio for this one really complain only at a high level. By me are there any out of 5 stars and a very clear buy recommendation.

After 1 month, I am very pleased overall. I use this receiver with the Pioneer BDP 440 Blu Ray player and was also particularly interested in the control via iPhone. Originally I had planned to connect the receiver via wireless adapter Pioneer AS-WL300, am, however, moved away otherwise for each of my devices now a wireless or wired connection was necessary. For that reason I have lost my router and connected televisions, receivers and Blu-ray player with LAN cable, which is also much cheaper. The IPhone control funktiniert overall rather average since I have been unable to turn the device with the iPhone. After switching to the iPhone which connects I feel a bit more reasonable than free because I really wanted to put away the many remote controls that has done so. I also urge everyone off the Internet router never otherwise receiver and BluRay player to pull a new IP and you have to find these again only to spend in IPhome correct again ... Otherwise, the unit has still recommended since the sound and automatic setup via micro produces a very full-bodied sound and overall enthusiasm.

Pioneer VSX-922-K AV-Receiver Reviews

I really do not know what so many people for problems with the receivers or better, which present themselves. The Pioneer VSK-922 is really a very good AV receiver, even if the settings are quite cumbersome. But now, really, what do you want, a receiver with very good sound, many features and extremely crisp bass, which of course takes time to adjust everything properly (it should be (s) configured) with although the cost of such MCACC keeps in limits, or rather a device where you have to do almost anything, but then almost all complain about the sound? People that have become very complex and high-quality multimedia interfaces and settings 4-5 years ago were surely much more complicated than current AV receivers. OK, if you are prepared 1200, - to 3000, - euro to spend, you will get both, minimum effort and sounds great, but we are in a price range where you have to avoid compromises. And complaining that the app is not running from the last receiver with the current, and therefore give only 1stern, well what can I say more? Then also determined 80% of printer and Co. will be poor because the driver does not run on Windows 98 and XP on Windows 7 or? So, that had to be written once, sorry but there are always those who just bitching for trifles! Pioneer to back, I can be quite brief. I had twice the Pioneer VSX-527 (Thanks to Amazon for easy redemption), now really is the very buggy software, but also the small was sounded correct setting of her quite well. But the Pioneer VSX-922 is really good . The calibration with the MCACC was a no brainer and a very precise. The sound is (always note the price-performance ratio) balanced with good but not too shrill treble and hard hitting bass and also in stereo operation! Lack of connections to the Pioneer is not, unless it is a turntable to be connected, but it will make the fewest on an AV receiver. Integration into Local network was very easy and unlike the VSX-527 everything worked right away, and the control with the app on the iPad, iPhone and Android. Even the remote control is when you get used to the many buttons, good to quarrels. What could be a point of criticism for me is an indication that the remote control is being touted with backlight, but is provided only in the dark with lighted keys. Otherwise, I highly recommend the Pioneer VSX-922 really!

Advance (deposit for the purchase recommendation as soon as possible), only a small review: For 500 € I got here at last my dream receiver. In the upper middle class I have found nothing comparable, since the VSX-922-K is really equipped so versatile that fulfill your needs. The many multimedia / streaming / airplay / Win7 / UPnP-DLNA / etc. - features speak for themselves and work without problems. Even the MCACC measures my scrap-5.1 system relatively well a ... and this is really a hardship ;-) All in all. For the money? Perfectly happy I am! For friends / family I have now set up more than 20 media systems and, by the many lessons learned with Onkyo, Marantz, Yamaha & co here awarded full 5 stars.

Hello! I am very satisfied with this device. A great sound for a good price. The operation is not easy, but when you first look through all logical! I am very satisfied with this unit and can recommend it to anyone. The bass is punchy and movies in DTS are great! I'm no expert, so I can not judge it exactly, but I think a professional would not buy this receiver (different price range): D

First Installation was very simple second The operation is easy third The control over the app is very comfortable 4th I can finally airplay in the living room and enjoy internet radio 5th My old speakers are great - but the sound of the new receiver is twice as much better than before with the HK. I'm excited with Pioneer VSX-922-K AV-Receiver
